Deals Of The Day: The Latest In Wealth Management M&A – Lovell Minnick, Americana
The latest mergers, acquisitions and other corporate actions in the wealth management sector.
Lovell Minnick, Americana
Private equity house Lovell Minnick
Partners has made a strategic investment into
Texas-headquartered Americana
Partners, a wealth manager overseeing more than $8.5 billion
in AuM.
The move makes Lovell Minnick the first outside investors in Americana, alongside the firm’s founders and management team. It continues a trend of private equity firms buying into the wealth industry, as chronicled recently here.
Founded in 2019, and with its HQ in Houston, Americana offers wealth advisory and family office services, including alternative and traditional investment solutions. Clients reside across the US.
“We chose to work with LMP because of their extensive track record in accelerating growth for successful wealth management organizations, their deep bench of resources to support strategic acquisitions, and their underlying philosophy as partners and investors,” Jason Fertitta, Americana’s CEO, said.
Piper Sandler & Co served as exclusive financial advisor and Winstead served as legal counsel to Americana. Alston & Bird served as legal counsel to Lovell Minnick Partners. The financial terms were not disclosed.
