Heffernan, First Coast
Heffernan Insurance Brokers and Heffernan Financial Services have acquired Florida-based First Coast Wealth Advisors. The firm is in St Augustine. 

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founder and chief executive Jeff Helms and his team joined Heffernan at the start of January. Helms has worked in the financial services industry for nearly 40 years, including serving in many leadership positions, before founding First Coast Wealth Advisors in 2003. 

"With the addition of the First Coast wealth advisory team, we now have bi-coastal expertise that includes team members who hold the prestigious designations of CFA and CFP," Blake Thibault, president of Heffernan Financial Services, said.
