Capital Management announced today that effective January 1,
it is joining Argent
Financial Group.
The firm, which is based in Mandeville, Louisiana, will continue to operate as a standalone entity under the Orleans Capital Management brand. Emily Becker will continue to lead the firm as president and chief investment officer, Argent said in a statement.
“Orleans and Argent share a common history, both growing out of Louisiana bank trust departments in the early 1990s,” Kyle McDonald, chief executive of Argent Financial Group, said.
Argent, which is responsible for more than $65 billion in client assets, was formed in 1990 in Ruston, Louisiana.
