DLA Piper Launches Global Investment Management, Funds Practice

As part of the launch, the firm has named four senior partners to lead the new practice in different parts of the world.

It offers a global “one-stop shop” to serve the legal needs of asset managers, investment fund sponsors and investors across all industry sectors, geographies, asset classes and investment strategies.
Business areas include the full investment fund lifecycle from strategic planning and launch to liquidation; the entire investment fund value chain from investor to investment level; relevant areas of experience such as tax, securities, regulatory, corporate governance, M&A, private equity investments, project finance, employment, restructuring, trademarks, data protection and disputes; and implementation of environmental, social and governance (ESG) policies for investment management players.
