D A Davidson & Co, an employee-owned full-service investment firm, has hired April Zee as associate director of wealth planning within its individual investor group.

Zee will be based in the Los Angeles, CA, office of Crowell, Weedon & Co, a division of the firm, covering the southern California region.

She has 14 years of experience in the financial services industry and has spent the last 10 years in planning roles at Wells Fargo and, most recently, Union Bank.

Zee also holds advanced degrees in the field of psychology, allowing her to bring a unique perspective to the financial planning process, D A Davidson said.  

Crowell Weedon merged with D.A. Davidson in 2013 to become a division of D A Davidson.
