Cresset Names Ex-JP Morgan Figure As New Compliance Chief
The CCO takes up the post to succeed a predecessor who has served in the role since 2018, and is stepping down.
Cresset, the US wealth management group, has appointed former JP Morgan senior figure Amy Hong as its new chief compliance officer, taking over from Bob Pagliuco, who previously announced that he was retiring from a post he has held since 2018.
Hong, who has also been named an executive managing director, will be based in Cresset’s San Francisco office.
Most recently, Hong was managing director, asset and wealth management operations, at JP Morgan. Before that, she was at First Republic Bank. (JP Morgan bought First Republic last year.) Hong has also served as chief compliance officer with Personal Capital Advisors Corporation, and as vice president, compliance, with Voya Investment Management.
Hong is a graduate of Rutgers University.
Cresset has more than $50 billion in assets under management. It offers wealth management, investment advisory, and family office services through Cresset Asset Management, a registered investment advisor.
