Credit Suisse Makes Senior French Private Banking Hire

The Swiss banking firm has made an executive appointment in France.

Credit Suisse has appointed Sammy Mohammad to the new position of managing director of its French private banking team.

Most recently, Mohammad was managing director in the sales and trading department at StormHarbour, a London-based global markets and financial advisory firm. He held that role from 2013. There, he was responsible for institutional client development throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

His other former roles include managing director at Deutsche Bank’s London office and head of fixed income sales and trading at Paris-based investment company Exane BNP Paribas.

Based in Paris, he will report to Gilles Dard, head of private banking for Credit Suisse’s French, Belgian and Luxembourg businesses.

Mohammad will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with large institutional clients, as well as promoting the range of services and expertise that the group offers to its clients and family offices.

This publication is awaiting confirmation on whether Mohammad replaces someone in the role.
