Corporate Reshuffle, New CEO At Evercore Trust Company

Evercore Trust Company, a subsidiary of Evercore Partners, has a new chief executive as part of a reshuffle of its executive team.

As of July 1, Charles Wert and Norman Goldberg will become vice chairmen, while Ciara Burnham, currently a senior managing director with Evercore Partners, will succeed Wert as president and CEO.

Additionally, William Ryan - latterly executive director for legal and compliance and head of ERISA law at Morgan Stanley - will succeed Goldberg as chief fiduciary officer.

Burnham, currently head of strategy and corporate development at Evercore, has over 20 years of experience in financial transaction advisory services and investment management.

Ryan has about 25 years of experience advising clients and institutions on ERISA-related legal issues.

Evercore Trust Company provides fiduciary services, investment management and trustee services to employee benefit plans and their corporate sponsors. It also partners with Evercore Wealth Management to provide investment and wealth management services to families, individuals and related institutions.
