Conway Del Genio Gries has appointed Matthew McGowan as managing director.

McGowan is a veteran investment banker with 25 years of industry experience, during which he worked alongside Conway Del Genio Gries founders Robert Conway, Robert Del Genio and Michael Gries for 11 years while at Ernst & Young's corporate finance unit. After that, he served as managing director for Giuliani Capital Advisors and then as head of infrastructure services at Macquarie Capital Advisors. He brings wide experience in both European and Asian transactions to the firm, Conway Del Genio Gries said in a statement.

Conaway Del Genio Gries & Co is a restructuring advisory, turnaround management and M&A advisory firm. Founded in 1998, it has since completed more than 200 restructurings and turnarounds.
