Compass' wealth group make two more appointments

Private-client unit adds an investment strategist and a portfolio
manager. Compass Wealth Management Group, the trust and
investment-advisory arm of Birmingham, Ala.-based Compass Bank,
has made two more appointments. Cory Wilson has been named senior
investment strategist for Compass WMG's Alabama market, and Susan
Green has joined Compass WMG as senior portfolio manager
Houston.
Wilson comes to Compass from Birmingham-based Regions Bank; Green
had been with Houston-based Redstone Consulting.
A spate
In his new role, Wilson will assist high-net-worth individuals in
the Birmingham metro and northern Alabama area in accessing the
broad range of financial services, including investment
management and trust services, available through WMG and the
bank's affiliate companies.
Green is responsible for providing investment advice, developing
and implementing investment strategies and managing portfolios
for high-net-worth individuals and foundations in Houston and
surrounding areas.
Wilson and Green are among a number of senior staffers Compass
WMG has added in recent weeks -- among them Jeff Manley as
Houston market executive, Douglas Bell as director of fiduciary
and taxation services, and Steve Sanak, as head of
wealth-management operations in Alabama and Florida.
Compass WMG's subsidiaries are Capital Investment Counsel,
Jacksonville, Fla.-based St Johns Investment Management and
Houston-based Stavis Margolis Advisory Services.
Compass Bank's corporate parent is a subsidiary of Bilbao,
Spain-based BBVA. -FWR
