Clifford Chance Re-Hires Partner

The new lawyer will rejoin the firm's operation in New York, after leaving in 2015.
US-headquartered law firm Clifford Chance has said that Joseph Cosentino has rejoined the firm’s corporate team as a partner in New York.
Consentino will focus on public and private M&A in the insurance and private equity sectors, the firm said in a statement yesterday.
Previously, Cosentino was partner at the firm for three years, leaving in June 2015 to join Greenberg Traurig, a US-based law firm. During his last spell at Clifford, Cosentino advised clients on mergers, tender offers, auctions and restructurings. He also represented acquirers, targets, investment banks and investors in negotiating public and private transactions.
"Joe has broad industry experience and a strong track record in M&A, advising both domestic and multinational clients – we are delighted to welcome him back to the firm," said Evan Cohen, regional managing partner Americas. "In a little more than a year, our Americas practice has added nine lateral partners who are helping us build additional capabilities in areas of strategic importance in the US."
