Client Reporting Solution Provider Equipos Changes Name To SimCorp Coric

SimCorp, a provider of investment and portfolio management software and services which recently acquired Equipos, has changed its name to SimCorp Coric.

SimCorp, a provider of investment and portfolio management software and services which recently acquired Equipos, has changed its name to SimCorp Coric.

The firm’s name has changed to SimCorp Coric Incorporated in North America and SimCorp Coric Limited in the UK.

The firm’s flagship solution, SimCorp Coric Client Communications - formerly Equipos Coric Client Communications - is a software solution designed for private wealth and institutional asset management firms. It helps users enhance client service, increase operational efficiency and enhance the client experience through the automated production of personalized client reports, “pitchbooks” and client meeting packs, among other client communication tools.

“The team has built an impressive reputation with the Coric name over many years, so it was logical to retain this brand equity moving forward,” said Georg Hetrodt, chief technology officer at SimCorp.

Equipos, the reporting software development firm operating in the wealth management space, was acquired by SimCorp on March 1, 2014. Before this date, SimCorp held 20 per cent of the shares in the firm.
