City National Plans Two New California Branches

Los Angeles, California-headquartered
City National Bank has opened a new full-service branch in Brentwood and will open a further one in Pacific Palisades this month. Both branches will offer services including wealth management.

In Brentwood, Ghalib Dhalla has been appointed branch manager. Dhalla most recently worked at Cal National Bank in Santa Monica and previously was with California Bank & Trust. He will be joined by client services manager Marian Coleman and relationship manager Britt Halliday.

In Pacific Palisades the bank has hired Bob Martinez as branch manager and vice president. Martinez was latterly the regional manager of Cal National Bank where he had responsibility for the Pacific Palisades office as well as offices in Torrance and Palos Verdes.

Also staffing the Pacific Palisades branch are client services manager Marie Pascual and client services officer Lois Globnik.

Last year City National opened up 11 new offices, including eight in California. It offers banking, investment and trust services in Southern California, the San Francisco Bay Area, Nevada and New York City, and along with its investment affiliates manages or administers $58.5 billion in client investment assets.
