Los Angeles-based
City National Bank has hired Randy Boesch as senior vice president and manager of its private client service group in Nevada, according to a press release issued yesterday.

In his new position, Mr Boesch will manage a staff of eight colleagues housed in offices in Las Vegas and Reno. His responsibilities include overseeing client service and retention, business development and investment management for the bank's high net worth clients and prospects, the statement continued.

Since beginning his career in baking in 1974, Mr Boesch has worked in a number of leadership positions at several banks, including First Interstate and Wells Fargo. His most recent position was president and chief executive officer of
Red Rock Community Bank.
