City National Bank has appointed Clay Overlien as vice president and financial sales advisor for its Cheyenne in North Las Vegas and Summerlin branch in Las Vegas. He joins City National through its acquisition of Sun West Bank in May of this year.

He will also work very closely with other areas of the bank, such as commercial banking services and private client services, to develop new business.

Overlien will report to Floy Davis, senior vice president and area banking manager of the bank's Cheyenne and Summerlin branches.

Prior to joining City National, Overlien served as executive relationship manager for Sun West Bank.

City National Bank is the wholly owned subsidiary of City National Corporation. The company and its investment affiliates manage or administer $54.6 billion in client investment assets, including more than $34 billion under direct management.
