Citi Wealth Names Portfolio Advisory Head

The role is a newly created one, Citigroup said.

Citi Wealth, part of Citigroup has appointed former JP Morgan figure Jeanne Sun as head of portfolio advisory, part of the chief investment office team.

With more than 20 years’ experience working with JP Morgan, Sun – who is based in New York – has held leadership positions as head of investments and advice for digital wealth, general manager of inclusive investing, global head of the advice lab, and head of investment strategy for global investment opportunities (GIO). She reports to Kate Moore, who joined as CIO in February, formerly working at BlackRock.

Part of Sun's role is to drive thought leadership on Citi Wealth’s market views and investment advice to target specific client segments. Sun has a BS, finance, from the MIT Sloan School of Management, according to her Linkedin profile.

In May, Citi Wealth appointed Patty Sachs as its new wealth marketing head. She has started in the newly-created role, reporting to Alex Craddock, chief marketing and content officer at the firm. Sachs is also a strategic partner to Andy Sieg, head of Citi Wealth. 

In the same month, JP Morgan Private Bank figure Russell Budnick joined Citi Wealth in August as capital markets head.

In April, Citi Wealth named one of its existing art advisors, Betsy Bickar, as head of art advisory. Bickar was previously a senior art advisor. Citigroup’s art advisory team complements the bank’s art finance team led by Fotini Xydas.
