Citi Private Bank Mobile App Reaches The iPad

Citi Private Bank has put its mobile application on the App Store of the iPad, hightlighting how banks are increasingly looking to harness such technologies.

The app, which is available for free on the App Store, is designed to give clients access to Citi’s thought leadership publications, research materials, video interviews and more, the bank said.

Through the Citi Private Bank Mobile (SM) app, clients can view: monthly global economic commentary from Citi Private Bank’s chief investment officer; global research; equity research; fixed income research, advisory services newsletters, including areas such as art advisory, video interviews and commentary.

The US bank is not the first financial services firm to exploit the iPad platform. For example, Black Diamond Performance Reporting, the Florida-based provider of portfolio management and reporting platforms, has launched a new application specifically designed for the Apple iPad.
