Citi Private Bank Hires Managing Director In New York

Citigroup's private banking arm has welcomed a former JP Morgan managing director.

Citi Private Bank has appointed Nicole Nunag as a managing director and team lead within its Metro, New York business.

Nunag joins from JP Morgan Private Bank where she was managing director and senior banker. In this role, she was responsible for developing wealth management strategies for ultra-high net worth families, senior executives, real estate entrepreneurs, private companies, foundations and endowments.

During her time at JP Morgan, she led a team advising clients on asset allocation, investment portfolio construction, capital and liquidity strategies, and estate planning solutions.

Prior to her stint at the New York-headquartered bank, she spent more than eight years working in the New York commercial real estate and hotel marketing industry. In total, she has more than 17 years’ experience serving ultra-high net worth clients in the New York region, Citi Private Bank said in a statement.

Based in New York, Nunag will be responsible for managing and directing development efforts to expand Citi Private Bank’s business throughout the New York Metro region. Additionally, she will oversee day-to-day client relationships and manage the execution of strategic product development, marketing and sales plans.

Nunag will report to Ida Liu, managing director and global market manager within the New York Metro division.

“We continue to attract high caliber talent as we build out our team locally,” said Liu, adding: “Nicole’s appointment underscores this.”

Family Wealth Report is awaiting confirmation as to whether Nunag is taking on a newly-created role or replacing someone and will update accordingly.
