Citi Names New Ukrainian Head After Predecessor’s Move To Private Bank

Citibank Ukraine, the Eastern Europe-based subsidiary of Citigroup, has appointed Stephen Fisher as its head, Tristar reports.
In his new Kiev-based role, Fisher succeeds Nadir Sheikh, who reportedly moved to pursue other interests with Citi Private Bank in London, the Ukrainian business wire said.
Fisher will be responsible for further development of the Ukrainian business and will be working alongside Zdenek Turek, head of Citi in Russia and the CIS.
Prior to this appointment Fisher, who joined the firm 26 years ago, worked as head of corporate relations in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. He also worked on a regional level as well as internationally in both EMEA and Northern America, according to the publication.
Citi had not responded to enquiries on the matter from WealthBriefing at the time of publication.
