The office adds the firms’ presence across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Citadel, the alternative investment manager, and Citadel Securities, the global market maker, have announced that their newest office in Singapore will open later in 2020.

The office will increase the firms’ presence across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. They are also growing their presence in Hong Kong, and Citadel Securities is expanding its footprint in Shanghai and Sydney.

Citadel has operated in the region since 2005 and became the first participant in China's qualified domestic limited partner programme in 2014. Citadel Securities has operated in Asia-Pacific since 2009 and trades in markets including mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Australia and Singapore.
