CheckFree IS brings in new sales chief from DST
Crenier to lead managed -account technology provider's business
development. CheckFree has hired former DST Output executive
Peter Crenier to manage sales for its Investment Services
division. This puts him in charge of sales for CheckFree's
portfolio-accounting and manager-sponsor connectivity systems for
separately-managed-account, unified managed account and mutual
fund wrap programs.
Crenier will be based in Boston, where CheckFree has a new
office.
Continued growth
"Peter has a deep understanding of technology solutions for the
financial services and other vertical markets," says Michael
Gianoni, general manager of CheckFree Investment Services. "This
expertise coupled with his sales and marketing knowledge makes
him a valuable addition to our team, as the industry is
experiencing increased interest and continued growth of managed
accounts and performance-measurement technology solutions."
Crenier was national accounts executive for Carlsbad,
Calif.-based DST Output's financial-service, insurance and health
"verticals." Before joining DST Output, he helped get sales off
the ground for the Waltham, Mass.-based web portal Lycos.
Norcross, Ga.-based CheckFree is part of Brookfield, Wisc.-based
Fiserv. CheckFree Investment Services is based in Jersey City,
