Charles Schwab Adds New ETF Provider, Funds To Platform

This publication provides latest news on service and product offerings in the North America wealth management space.

A range of exchange traded fund platform operated by Charles Schwab has added a new provider, OppenheimerFunds and 12 ETFs to its line-up.

The additions are being made to the Schwab ETF OneSource™, program.

With these additions, the program gives investors and advisors access to 228 ETFs covering 69 Morningstar Categories. There are no online commissions, enrollment requirements and no early redemption fees, which the firm claims puts it in opposition to other commission-free ETF offerings.

Some four of the Oppenheimer Revenue Weighted ETF strategies are available to Schwab clients with $0 online trade commissions. OppenheimerFunds joins 15 other ETF providers on the program. They include: ALPS, Deutsche Asset Management, Direxion, ETF Securities, Global X Funds, Guggenheim Investments, IndexIQ, John Hancock Investments, JP Morgan Asset Management, PIMCO, PowerShares, State Street SPDR® ETFs, USCF, WisdomTree and Charles Schwab Investment Management.
