Change At Helm Of Barclays Wealth's International Private Bank In London

Barclays Wealth announced today that Henry Fischel-Bock has been appointed as head of London, International Private Bank for Europe, Middle East and Africa, replacing Michael Demirel, who has left the firm.
Mr Fischel-Bock will report to Emmanuel Fievet, head of International Private Bank, EMEA, Barclays Wealth said in a statement. He joins from the International Planning Group, a client advisory firm in Miami where he held the position of senior vice president. Mr Fischel-Bock has previously worked for US Trust - Bank of America, Citigroup, JP Morgan and Dresdner Private Bank.
“Henry has great international exposure and experience having worked in EMEA and the Americas during his career. His knowledge of clients and of the industry will help contribute to our growth ambitions,” Mr Fievet said.
Mr Demirel was appointed to Barclays Wealth in April 2008, having previously worked at Citibank (Switzerland).
