Cetera Financial Institutions is the marketing name for Cetera Investment Services, a self-clearing FINRA member broker-dealer and registered investment advisor within Cetera Financial Group, the network of independent broker-dealer firms owned by RCS Capital.
Cetera Financial Institutions has expanded its relationship with Broadridge, an industry provider of investor communications and technology for wealth management firms.
Specifically, Broadridge is making enhancements to Cetera's SmartWorks online workstation for advisors as well as iconnect2invest, the firm's client portal.
Enhancements include:
- Access to Broadridge's Investigo tool, which enables advisors to see advisory, brokerage, annuity and direct assets in one place, as well as offer consolidated performance reporting;
- Access to Broadridge's Ascendis technology for significantly streamlined data entry, exception handling and increased control over risk and compliance across the front- middle- and back-office;
- Creation of automated trading and re-balancing program in partnership with Broadridge and FolioDynamix;
- Client portal capabilities for trading and secure e-delivery of statements and investor communications;
- Ability to launch mobile-enabled capabilities by 2015, including tablet and mobile phone capabilities for advisors and clients;
- Advanced analytics for client segmentation tools; and
- Enhancements to the Cetera Financial Group network's Connect2Clients marketing program to support outreach for financial institutions concerned about declining branch traffic.
In August, Cetera Financial Group announced a raft of developments to support its network of broker-dealer firms. The firm believes it is setting a new industry standard for a “balance between scale and personalized support.” See more on this here.
