Cerity Partners Merges With Outsourced CIO Firm
The outsourced CIO business services clients including family offices.
Cerity Partners, a US wealth management firm founded in 2009, has combined with Denver-based Agility, a provider of outsourced chief investment officer firm.
Agility services clients including foundations, family offices, corporations and healthcare organizations. When the transaction is completed, Agility will form Cerity Partners OCIO.
When asked by Family Wealth Report, Cerity said financial terms of the transaction were not being disclosed. The arrangement is a merger, not a transaction, a spokesperson for Cerity said.
Agility's investment team will establish an OCIO investment committee within Cerity Partners, Cerity said in a statement yesterday.
"This partnership will reinforce our ability to serve this very important segment of the market,” Kurt Miscinski, CEO of Cerity Partners, said.
