Castlestone Offers Fund to UK and European Investors

US-based Castlestone Management, an asset manager specialising in alternative investments, has launched a UCITS III compliant version of its global macro fund.

The Intelligent Portfolio Asset Allocation (UCITS) fund will now be available to UK and European investors. The multi-asset fund provides actively managed exposure to global equity securities, global bonds, commodity markets, money market instruments, currencies, global real estate markets and hedge funds, using low-correlated allocations for diversification, Castlestone said in a statement.

“The ultimate goal is to give clients access to the kind of capital-preservation and absolute return characteristics of an offshore family-office style product, within the type of regulatory framework that gives investors confidence that they know what they are buying,” said the fund’s manager Leon Diamond.

In another move favouring UK and European investors, Castlestone has recently opened its Aliquot Gold Bullion and Aliquot Precious Metals funds to euro and pound sterling investors, who could previously only invest in the fund using US dollars.
