Capital Analysts picks Advisor Software technology

IBD wanted flexible, scalable support for advisors using managed
accounts. Independent broker-dealer Capital Analysts has selected
Advisor Software, Inc.'s (ASI) integrated Client Acquisition
Solution to support advisors using Capital Analysts' Asset
Management Services (CAAMS) managed-account platform.
"ASI Client Acquisition Solution will further Capital Analysts'
commitment of delivering more personalized, client-centered
advisory services," says Capital Analysts' COO Stephen Mayhew.
"The solution is a good fit for our organization because it
provides the high level of configurability we need to support our
uniquely managed products, consider our own risk assessment
process and help advisors satisfy the needs of their diverse
client-base."
Keeping track
ASI's Client Acquisition Solution is a scalable
portfolio-construction and proposal-generation software. It lets
advisors review portfolio holdings, perform risk assessments,
develop asset allocation strategies, choose securities, create
model portfolios and generate comprehensive investment plans, and
do so pretty quickly.
Capital Analysts says it chose the ASI product because it can be
configured to meet advisor preferences, support a variety of
pre-set asset allocation models and create customized investment
proposals.
"We are pleased that Capital Analysts selected ASI Client
Acquisition Solution, recognizing it as the most comprehensive,
flexible application of its kind," says ASI's COO Neal Ringquist.
"This decision reinforces [ASI's] strong track record of enabling
financial institutions to deliver institutional-quality advisory
services to the retail investor."
Capital Analysts' CAAMS includes seven fee-based managed-model
portfolios that feature separately managed accounts, individual
securities, mutual funds and ETFs.
Cincinnati-based Capital Analysts supports about 400 brokers with
about $8 billion in assets under management.
Lafayette, Calif.-based ASI provides investment-analysis software
to asset managers, broker-dealers, banks, insurance companies and
other financial companies. It offers a trial of its
client-acquisition software. -FWR
