Calypso Appoints Business Development Chief

Calypso Technology, the San Francisco-headquartered financial services software firm, has appointed David Little as director of strategy and business development.

In his new role Little will focus on the development of the firm’s securities finance and collateral management offering and will be working closely with both product managers and the sales team, Calypso said in a statement.

Little joins the company from the London-based consultancy Rule Financial, where he was a partner and had founded, led and expanded its securities finance business unit during his tenure. Before his move into financial services technology in 1997 he had worked at ICL. In all, he has some 20 years of experience in IT development.

“Calypso is intensely committed to securities finance and bringing David on board will give us the competitive edge and business savvy to rapidly expand in that area,” said Kishore Bopardikar, president of Calypso.
