This publication provides latest news on moves and appointments in the North America wealth management space.
California-based Manhattan West Asset Management, an RIA firm, yesterday announced that OC Isaac, formerly of VEDC (Valley Economic Development Corp), has become a shareholder and managing director, reuniting with erstwhile colleagues. The size of his shareholding wasn't disclosed.
The former President of VEDC is rejoining former members of VEDC’s executive and credit management team. The company has also added Angela Stanislawski, former vice president of operations, Nilima Kapoor, former director of special assets and Michael Oberlitner, former VEDC Chief Credit Officer, Manhattan West said.
At VEDC, Isaac was the head of East Coast operations and national strategic initiatives.
Based in New York City, he oversaw capital raising and deployment on behalf of financial institutions that included Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, UBS and Bank of America.
Prior to VEDC, Isaac held a similar position with the New York Business Development Company. Isaac was formerly a Special Advisor to the United States Small Business Administration, appointed by former President Barack Obama, where he designed and relaunched the SBA Small Loan Advantage and Community Advantage Loan Programs.
"My relationships with our New York and east coast based institutional funding partners will allow our team at Manhattan West to deliver a robust private equity solution that many of our bank and insurance companies seek," Isaac said.
Manhattan West recently launched the Manhattan West ESG Fund I, LP, a private debt Fund focused on social impact investing. The fund invests in private credit transactions ranging in size from $500,000 to $2,000,000.
The firm is a Latino owned full service investment platform led by Lorenzo Esparza, veteran financial service professional.
