Springer Financial Advisors, a Sacramento, CA-based registered investment advisor, has brought in Ed Guanill as a financial representative.

Guanill runs his own financial planning practice, having founded JR Asset Management in 2005. He has previously worked at TASQ Technology, where he began his career in 1997, before leaving to found his own company, Coastal Payment Systems, in 1999 and rejoining the firm in 2001 as director of business development.

At Springer he will focus on helping families work towards their retirement goals and reduce their taxes to pass on wealth in a tax-efficient manner.

Guanill joins Keith Springer, president and founder of the firm, which offers fee-based services.
