CRM provider offers hosted application for WM firms

Salentica says web-based Advisor Desk cuts capital costs and
deployment time. CRM software maker Salentica Systems has
launched a hosted version of its Advisor Desk for
wealth-management firms.
"This is an attractive solution for wealth management firms that
want to move quickly or do not have the available IT resources to
manage the server environment," says Salentica's president Bill
Rourke. "Our clients can be up and running quickly with
functionality specific to their needs, without any upfront
capital investment."
More choice
Salentica extended its broad-based CRM offering -- which is built
around Microsoft's CRM platform -- to the wealth-management space
about a year ago through a partnership with Bronxville,
N.Y.-based InfoGrate's iWealth division. The hosted version of
Advisor Desk gives customers a lower cost of entry, reduced risk,
and the advantage of speedy deployment, according to
Salentica.
The web-based version of Salentica's Advisor Desk "demonstrates
the real value that hosted offerings of CRM solutions can provide
to customers," says Brad Wilson, general manager of Microsoft
Dynamics CRM. "With Salentica's domain expertise and experience
working with wealth-management firms, this new offering will
provide more choice to customers looking for a CRM solution
tailored to their needs."
Toronto-based Salentica says it provides CRM solutions to more
than 60 companies worldwide. -FWR
