CPAs Rank Top For Trustworthiness Among Wealthy Investors

High net worth investors think accounting firms are the most trustworthy financial services providers, according to research by Spectrem’s Millionaire Corner website.

Over 90 per cent of HNW investors, who have assets of between $5 million and $25 million, think accounting firms are trustworthy. A large majority also trusts private banks (80 per cent), law firms (78 per cent) and trust companies (79 per cent).

Banks, law firms and accounting firms rank as the top three “go-to” financial service providers for this client segment in 2013, according to the research. Meanwhile, independent financial planners, accountants and law firms rank in the top three spots for delivering a personalized service.
