CAIS Creates Chief Technology Officer Role

The wealth management platform for advisors and other industry players has appointed a new chief technology officer.

CAIS, a financial product platform for wealth managers, has brought in Frederick Kauber as managing director and chief technology officer - a new role at the firm.

Kauber will focus on improving advisor engagement, product access and execution, as well as integration with partners within the wealth management community.

He will also serve as a member of the firm's executive committee and report to CAIS’ founder and chief executive, Matt Brown.

Throughout his career, Kauber has worked at Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, Dun & Bradstreet and First Data Corp, as well as entrepreneurial e-commerce and FinTech ventures including Tranzact, Bigfoot Interactive, Solid Group and Entitle Direct.

CAIS’ clients include RIAs, family offices and other wealth advisors.  The platform has thus far facilitated over $2.5 billion in transactions across a roster of hedge funds, private equity funds and capital markets offerings.
