Butterfield Fulcrum Establishes West Coast Presence

As it moves to establish a presence on the US West Coast, Bermuda-headquartered hedge fund administrator Butterfield Fulcrum has announced that its expansion will be led by Brian Young, a director of business development.

Based in the Pacific Northwest, Young will be responsible for promoting Butterfield Fulcrum’s fund administration services to investment managers across the west coast and mid-west markets.

Young was previously located in New York and has worked for Butterfield Fulcrum since 2010. He joined the firm from BNP Paribas - Corporate and Investment Banking, where he held various positions within the equity and commodity derivatives group.

In related news, the fund services firm appointed Jeff Nason to the newly-created position of managing director, global and strategic relationships earlier this month.
