Brown Brothers Harriman plans to open a series of new trust offices throughout the US, according to reports in the US trade press. Reports also suggest BBH plans to launch a family office service at the beginning of next year.

The US wealth manager has earmarked new office openings in Wilmington, Delaware; Chicago and Boston. BBH recently expanded its New York trust business, according to reports.

The trust firm has more than $32 billion in assets and offices in New York, Charlotte, Dallas, Palm Beach and Philadelphia.
