Boston Private Bank & Trust Continues Hiring

Boston Private Bank & Trust Company has appointed Deirdre Hall as vice president and portfolio manager.
Hall has over 12 years of industry experience and will be responsible for managing portfolios for individual and institutional clients, working with the bank’s team of investment management, wealth planning and trust professionals.
Hall previously served as vice president and portfolio manager at Rockland Trust. She has also served as a senior research analyst at Wood Mackenzie, and assistant vice president/equity analyst at Appleton Partners.
In other news, yesterday the firm confirmed to Family Wealth Report that its chief executive for the San Francisco Bay Area, James Garvey, is set to leave the firm by the end of the year. The bank is not replacing him as it has recently re-jigged its organizational structure. Specifically, the San Mateo-based bank was known until recently as Borel Private Bank & Trust Company, but was renamed in September as part of a consolidation which began last year.
In what has been a busy period for Boston Private, October also saw the addition of four senior investment and wealth planning professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area. The same week, it appointed Bradley Wilson as vice president and fixed income portfolio manager.
Boston Private Bank & Trust is a private bank and wealth management firm headquartered in Boston, with 25 offices throughout New England, Southern California, the Pacific Northwest, and the San Francisco Bay Area.
