Bernstein Private Wealth, Parent Firm Moves Into Fresh NYC Offices
AllianceBernstein has been opening new offices in a number of locations around the world in the past year.
This week, AllianceBernstein and its unit, Bernstein Private Wealth Management (Bernstein), unveiled new offices in The Spiral in Hudson Yards, New York City.
The new building enables AB and the wealth advisors, investment teams and client services professionals to work under one roof.
The corporate headquarters remain in Nashville, Tennessee.
The New York private wealth management team will continue to be led by regional managing directors Len Hersh and Kim Mustin.
“This transition marks a special moment for our firm. As part of our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional service and innovative solutions, our brand-new, state-of-the-art space in the heart of New York City presents significant opportunities to our clients and colleagues,” Onur Erzan, head of AB global client group and Bernstein Private Wealth Management, said.
In tandem with its office move, AB has formed partnerships to encourage education and in the community, for example through its work with Hudson Guild (supporting early literacy programming, youth development, and educational enrichment), and Minds Matter NYC, supporting New York City’s students entering and completing college. It is also sponsoring a portion of The Shed’s upcoming production of King Lear, starring Kenneth Branagh.
“In the past year, our team has been focused on our global footprint and creating the office of the future for our employees,” Karl Sprules, AB’s chief operating officer, said. “We have expanded our presence in the Middle East with an office in the Dubai International Financial Centre, in addition to opening a world-class office in Pune, India. Our team has also relocated to new, state-of-the-art office spaces in London, Milan, and Munich within Europe.”
As of August 31, 2024, AllianceBernstein had $791 billion in assets under management.
