Bermuda Commercial Bank Selects New Core Banking System

Bermuda Commercial Bank, which offers both corporate and private banking, has adopted Misys BankFusion Universal Banking as its core banking system in a bid to become more responsive to clients and deliver new products to the market more quickly.

BCB had already been using the Misys Bankmaster system for several years, and BankFusion Universal Banking provides it with a migration path from Bankmaster which minimises the risk of the upgrade to the bank, Misys said in a statement.

"Real-time systems and fully automated and integrated operations are core to our business model. We expect that BankFusion will deliver the sort of integrated, robust solution that we require and allow our people to focus on our customers," Horst Finkbeiner, chief operating officer at BCB said.
