The Newport Beach, California-based RIA has added about $1.35 billion in client assets through deals in California, Texas and Wisconsin, which closed between July and October.
Beacon Pointe Advisors has acquired WorthPointe Financial Planners, Silver Lake Capital Partners and R Meier Wealth Management, taking its total assets under advisement to about $70 billion.
The firms oversee a combined $1.35 billion or so in client assets. WorthPointe is the largest, with about $1 billion and a presence in California and Texas. Its deal closed on October 15. Turkey Hill Management advised WorthPointe.
Silver Lake Capital Partners, a Dallas-based firm advising about $200 million, serves individuals, families, foundations and retirement plans. That deal closed on September 15. R Meier Wealth Management, founded in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin in 1995, advises about $150 million. It closed on July 1, and Dalphia Partners advised the seller.
Financial terms were not disclosed for any of the transactions.
WorthPointe’s offering spans financial planning, investment consulting, estate planning, asset protection, charitable giving and employer retirement plan advice. Beacon Pointe said the deal expands its planning capacity in markets where it already operates rather than taking it into new ones.
The deals continue a busy year for Beacon Pointe, making 10 acquisitions already this year before the latest announcements yesterday.
As reported here, the wider RIA market is seeing a deceleration in deal-flow. DeVoe & Co counted 77 RIA transactions in the third quarter, down 17 per cent from 93 a year earlier. That ended a seven-quarter run of record volume. DeVoe now expects between 320 and 340 deals for 2026, against 2025’s record of 322. Serial acquirers have held up better than smaller buyers. Consolidators accounted for 53 per cent of deals through September, according to DeVoe. FINTRX data show that Wealth Enhancement Group was the most active buyer in the third quarter, with six deals.
