Paul Target has been appointed as the new director, business development, for Barclays Private Bank eastern UK division, which covers Norwich, Ipswich, Peterborough and Cambridge. The appointment is an internal promotion within Barclays.

Mr Target’s appointment follows on from the announcement last week that Barclays Private Clients had appointed Glynn Davies to be its new business development director in the north west of the UK, based in Manchester.

Mr Davies joins from Barclays Private Clients in London, where he worked on the Eastern Europe and Middle East desks.
