Barclays Names Country Director For Cyprus

This publication brings more news of moves and appointments in the wealth management sector.

UK-listed Barclays has appointed Savvas Constantinou as country director of Cyprus, reporting to Neil Jenkin, director at the bank.

Savvas will be responsible for leading the corporate and intermediary business in Cyprus, replacing Hans Wolff who has moved to a new role at Barclays’ headquarters, the bank said in a statement yesterday.

Savvas joined Barclays’ Cyprus branch in 2010.

Barclays has told clients in Cyprus with less than £100,000 ($155,000) that their accounts will be shut down from this month.
