Barbados, Spain Sign Double Taxation Agreement

The Barbados government has signed a double tax agreement with Spain, with plans to conclude individual ratification procedures at the end of this year, according to Tax-News.

The Caribbean jurisdiction is one of a raft of countries to have signed DTAs in recent months, as part of international efforts to create more certainty about cross-border tax issues. Earlier this year, Barbados also signed a DTA, for example, with Panama.
