Bank of America's recent wealth-grp appointments

U.S. Trust's owner continues U.S.-wide hiring wealth-professional
campaign. Bank of America has made eight new appointments to its
U.S. Trust Bank of America Private Wealth Management
division.
Charlotte, N.C.-based Bank of America says it has hired more than
200 wealth-management professionals since the end of 2006.
Names
In Florida Jeffrey Winick has been named trust officer in Tampa
Bay and Victor Santiago has been given the same role in St.
Petersburg. They report to Aaron Thiel, trust-team leader for
U.S. Trust in Tampa.
Winick comes to Bank of America from John Hancock Financial
Network . Santiago comes from the Sarasota, Fla.-based law firm
Norton Hammersley Lopez & Skokos , where he worked in tax, estate
and business planning.
Vincent Savino and Jennifer Bowes-McCann have been hired as trust
officers in New York. They'll report to Laurence Edelman, U.S.
Trust's trust-settlement executive.
Savino was most recently an attorney in private practice.
Bowes-McCann worked at the law firm of Rubinstein & Rubinstein in
tax and estate planning.
In San Diego Bank of America also hired DeAnne Steele as director
of investments and Robert Pitois as private-client manager.
Steele will report to Robert Pitti, U.S. Trust's investment
executive. Pitois will report to David Ohanian, U.S. Trust's
market executive for San Diego.
Steele was a managing director at U.S. Bank. Pitois was a
commercial banker at Citigroup's Smith Barney.
In Princeton, N.J., Bank of America has recruited two former
Wachovia Wealth Management advisors: Jonathan Myers as a
private-client consultant, and Lisa Thomaier as a relationship
manager with Private Bank of Bank of America . They report to
Christopher Dumont, U.S . Trust executive for Princeton.
Bank of America completed its acquisition of U.S. Trust from
Schwab in July 2007. U.S. Trust, the Private Bank of Bank of
America and Bank of America's Family Wealth Advisors have been
combined to form U.S. Trust Bank of America Private Wealth
Management.
U.S. Trust has seen a number of departures since its acquisition
by Bank of America was made public late last year. -FWR
