Bank Sarasin Hires Clariden Leu Trio

Swiss private bank Sarasin has hired a new head of credit for Asia from rival Clariden Leu, along with two of her colleagues.
Janice Lee joined yesterday as managing director, head of credit management, Asia. Based in Singapore, Lee reports to Peter Attiger, head group credit, and Enid Yip, chief executive officer, Asia at Sarasin.
Lee has 24 years financial experience, most recently at Clariden
Leu where she was chief credit officer, Asia, since 2009. Prior
to Clariden Leu, Lee worked at Deutsche Bank Private Wealth
Management as
the regional head of credit risk management, Asia-Pacific for 10
years. She joined Deutsche from
UBS Private Banking, where she was head of the credit risk desk
in Singapore.
Two colleagues from Clariden Leu have also joined Bank Sarasin’s credit management team. The bank did not immediately provide their names.
Lee will be responsible for assessing and evaluating credit risk and has expertise in products and jurisdictional issues across the region.
In a statement Peter Attiger, head group credit, underlined Lee's extensive knowledge of Asia-specific risk assessment, and her expertise related to the financial products preferred by Asian clients.
