Bank Of The West Builds Out Vegas Wealth Team

Bank of the West continues to strengthen its wealth management business with three hires in Nevada.
Bank of the West has made three senior wealth management hires in Las Vegas, in a move coinciding with the bank's recent expansion of trust powers in Nevada.
Rebecca MacDonald has been appointed as vice president and market leader; Theresa Le joins as a vice president and senior trust officer; and Maximus Nguyen has been named as a wealth financial advisor.
MacDonald started her career in Las Vegas as a financial services officer and then as a sales manager. She also has served as a branch manager at Bank of the West.
Le most recently led a team of trust administrators at an independent trust company and was in charge of overseeing the operations for transactions of IRA and custodial accounts, new business development and client and professional advisor relationships.
Nguyen has eight years of experience advising high net worth clients.
The hires are part of an ultra high net worth drive Bank of the West is pursuing, having brought in Steve Prostano to build out its business for individuals and families in the US with over $25 million in assets in June. The new appointees will also serve HNW and affluent clients.
Meanwhile, last month the firm hired Julie Shafer as head of strategic philanthropy and purpose investing.
