Baird's Wealth Arm Names Philadelphia Office Manager; Adds To Denver Team

Baird, the wealth manager, announced two senior appointments across the US.
Baird, the US wealth management house, has added James McGuire as a senior vice president, branch manager, of its Philadelphia wealth management office. The office had been previously run on an interim basis, the firm told this publication.
With more than 20 years of experience in the sector, McGuire previously worked at Wells Fargo; he was also with the former AG Edwards and Wachovia Securities firms. As well as running the office, he will also advise clients.
Also joining Baird is Christopher Coburn as senior vice president, Financial Advisor, in the firm’s Denver wealth management office. Coburn joins from RBC Capital Markets, where he had been a financial advisor since 2005. He has approximately $150 million in assets under management.
In July, McAdams Wright Ragen, an investment firm headquartered in Seattle, became a wholly owned subsidiary of Baird Financial Group, the holding company of Robert W Baird & Co.
Baird’s wealth management business has more than 800 financial advisors serving clients through more than 80 offices in 26 states, and has client assets of more than $100 billion.
