BNY Mellon Wealth Management Grows Mid-Atlantic Region

BNY Mellon Wealth Management has appointed Michael Lutz as senior director and team leader for its Central Pennsylvania portfolio management team, in the wake of several new additions to its private banking branches nationally.

The Wall Street-headquartered firm has been pushing an expansion strategy across the country, most recently hiring a new sales director in Maryland and head of its asset management unit.

Lutz has spent 35 years in private banking, wealth management and financial estate planning, latterly serving as senior vice president and director of marketing and new client development at the Hershey Trust Company. Prior to this he was a relationship manager and regional manager for First Union, CoreStates, and Hamilton Bank, predecessor banks of Wells Fargo-Wachovia.

In his new role Lutz will report to the managing director for the mid-Atlantic region, Michael DiMedio.
