BNY Mellon's director of portfolio management for the US western region has been promoted to take on this role on a national basis.
BNY Mellon Wealth Management has promoted Ben McGloin to national director of portfolio management, based in Newport Beach, CA. He replaces John Lipori, who retired earlier this year, the firm confirmed.
McGloin previously led the firm’s portfolio management teams in US western markets and before that was a team leader and senior portfolio manager in Newport Beach.
Before joining BNY Mellon in 2003, McGloin was a global analyst at PIMCO. His earlier experience includes positions as a trader and treasury analyst at Investors Bank & Trust in Boston, MA, and banking-related positions at Ulster Bank & TSB Bank in Ireland.
In his new role at BNY Mellon, McGloin will report to chief investment officer, Leo Grohowski.
