BNY Mellon Makes Senior Wealth Hire In The Rocky Mountain Region

BNY Mellon said the new wealth management hire in Colorado demonstrates its commitment to a key Western market.

BNY Mellon has hired Vera Divenyi as a wealth director in Denver, CO.

Divenyi joins from First Western Trust, where she was a regional wealth planner responsible for client account management and new business development.

Earlier in her career she was a business banking relationship manager at Wells Fargo Bank, and a tax consultant at Hein & Associates, Arthur Andersen and PricewaterhouseCoopers. She has also spent several years focusing on tax law in Geneva, Switzerland.

In her new role at BNY Mellon Wealth Management she will report to regional president Scott Fleming.

As part of a firm-wide effort to boost its sales teams around the country, BNY Mellon Wealth Management has been expanding its wealth management capabilities in the Denver area, among others, over the past three years.

Meanwhile in March BNY Mellon recruited Carly Neals as a wealth director in Pittsburgh, PA.

BNY Mellon has $191.8 billion in total private client assets, as of December 31, 2015, with offices in the US and internationally.
