Christopher Benson’s appointment is part of the firm’s ambitions to double the size of its wealth management arm in Denver, CO, and the Rocky Mountain region.
Benson joins from Northern Trust, where he was portfolio manager and senior investment consultant in Denver. There, he managed accounts for high net worth individuals and institutions.
In his new role at BNY Mellon Wealth Management, he will report to Tracy McCarthy, regional president.
At the end of January, BNY Mellon hired James Horvath as senior director for business development, responsible for the firm’s non-profit wealth management practice in New York.
